420 Trainers

Once a Marijuana Establishment Licensee is desingated a "Responsible Vendor", all new and returning employees involved in the handling and sale of marijuana must successfully complete a Responsible Vendor Training program within 90 days of hire - and every year following to maintain compliance. 

Responsible Vendor Training must include and address the responsibilites of all marijuana agents in the industry and every agent working under the control of a Licensed Marijuana Establishment must receive eight hours of ongoing, state-approved training annually. Each of these hours of annual Vendor Training should be aquired from a licensed RVT Trainer.

Note - Successful completion of this Responsible Vendor Training does not automatically result in certification. A passing score of 70 percent or greater on the final quiz is a minimum requirement for certification. Students receive further instructions about the testing procedure when they register.
